My bff has been telling me for months that I need to start a blog so I can post pictures of all this crafty junk I've been doing.
So, here it is. If you're into this kind of stuff--- enjoy.

My Grandma and Papa have had this table for as long as I can remember. My Grandma's Grandma (my great-great-Grandma) bought this table for $5.00. I remember being like 4 and sitting ON it and eating chili.
Anyway, the nasty flood of 2007 in Northeastern Oklahoma freakin destroyed this thing. I mean the legs/feet on this thing were broken off when it was floating around in the back porch. It was pretty rough looking.
So, I got it from my mom and went about making it whole again. Check it out:
Above: You can see some of the "feet" of the table leaning on our clothes drying rack.
Above: Here it is all put back together. I had to sand it like there was no tomorrow because it smelled like dirty fishy river water! Then, some stain and varnish.
Above: Here is the completed table with the chairs that I also revamped. You can see more on that below.
Above: Before. These "Bent wood" chairs had been up in my Papa's attic since forever. He said he got them a LONG time ago from a mechanic for FREE.
Since I had my new-old table, I needed some chairs to go with it.
Above: I got this fabric from Hobby Lobby. Once I got the art of staple gunning down, it was pretty easy.
Above: After. Ta-Da!
